
Hunter Schutt
Education & Background
Raised in Northwest Montana, Hunter brings a grounded, thoughtful approach to legal advocacy shaped by both academic rigor and real-world experience. Hunter earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with a minor in History from Montana State University, developing strong analytical and writing skills that continue to inform his legal practice. Hunter later attended Seattle University School of Law, where he completed his Juris Doctor. Hunter has years of experience in family law and became a member of the Washington State Bar Association in the fall of 2025. Hunter regularly represents clients in divorce, parentage actions, and child support matters, guiding individuals and families through emotionally complex situations with clarity, diligence, and compassion. In addition to family law, Hunter has experience handling protection orders, probate matters, and bankruptcy cases, allowing him to provide well-rounded legal support tailored to each client’s circumstances.
Outside the practice of law, Hunter remains deeply connected to the Pacific Northwest. Hunter plays in a local Seattle band and enjoys spending time outdoors skiing and hiking
