Education & Background

Tom completed his undergraduate studies at Norfolk State University, attaining a bachelor’s degree in psychology (cum laude) before graduating with a juris doctorate from Regent University School of Law. During law school, Tom took every opportunity to gain practical experience working as an intern for the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia and serving as a student clinician at the Regent University Civil Litigation Clinic. He also gained valuable legal research and writing experience as a Judicial Intern for Judge Alfred W. Bates of Suffolk General District Court.
