Erica Garcia

Background

Erica is a native Houstonian who has been in the legal field for over 20 years.  She has knowledge that was procured working inside of the court systems. She began her legal career as a court clerk in the Harris County District Clerk’s Office, in the family courts. These chapters of her court clerk career gave her knowledge related to real-world family law matters. The foundational experience and achievements gained in the courts created many opportunities for her, and she was soon offered a legal assistant position for a family law attorney where she became his lead paralegal.  Since then she has worked as a paralegal to reputable family law firms and has learned how to work cases from beginning to end. She has her paralegal certificate from The University of Texas at Austin.  Erica empathizes with clients she works with and makes it her duty to try and create an environment with as little stress as possible.
